Finally Catching Up
Well, Liberty (now Keesa) has her own blog, with great photos and narrative. She already has Brittany and Scott well-trained. And is best friends with Caprice and Malibu. Both gorgeous cats.
Calla went home November 17th, then a week later LaVon and Mike decided they needed Dale, too. So Dale the Door Dasher finally has a home! Calla has her blog, too, but it will be updated soon for Calla and Dale. Not fair to leave the big guy out of the title.
Komari gave us F3B kitten Ernie November 17th and as an only kitten he is spoiled rotten. New photos going on our AJSavannahs Kittens page later tonight. He's a fat little (not so little, he's already one pound at only 19 days of age), but a fat "little" baby. He is very vocal when mama gets too far away, and is very kissy for us, he loves to touch his nose to ours and gives Jason tiny licks on the cheek. Ernie's eyes opened early -- and he started toddling early, so he's already explored his very small world.
Harvey is growing like a weed and he'll go home to San Jose December 17th. I'm dreading another long California flight; Harvey is blissfully unaware of what's ahead of him.
His brother F2B Elwood is just a doll. We have new movies up on our AJSavannahs YouTube Channel and our AJSavannahs Movies blog, of Elwood's Feather Frenzy. He LOVES his birdie and we have to make him quit playing, or he would play til he dropped. Elwood has fantastic type, distinct oscelli, dark nose, tear stain markings around his eyes, small head, long legs, short tail, and spots, spots, spots!!! He's also very outgoing with a ton of personality. He never meets a stranger and is totally fearless.
Elwood hangs on the broom when I sweep, then dives into the middle of my pick-up pile, head down low, rear end up, twirls around, kicks everything out around him... then looks at me for praise for his accomplishment. I can't get upset with him. I just sweep again, with him helping, then hold him under my arm as I try and use the dustpan with one hand.
I could close him out when I clean, but we both have too much fun with his game. Savannahs create their own games if you're not playing what they want. It's much easier to humor him. Life should not be "No" all the time!
Tessa, Ellie, and Meica are also waiting for their perfect family. Ellie Belly will lay on her back for hours, with us rubbing her belly. She is THE most affectionate Savannah we've had and if you've read our Testimonials, or followed our kittens for awhile, you'll know that's a very strong statement. Ellie is an absolute lover and prefers our company over play with her cousins.
Tessa and Meica are also loving, but they play first, then come back for love. New movies taken December 3rd, of all three girls.
If you're a subscriber to our Kitten Notification list, then you know that this is the perfect time to add F2B Elwood or Tessa, or F3B Ellie, Meica, or Ernie to your home. If you're not a subscriber, please visit our AJSavannahs Kittens page and click to join -- no obligation of course.
I'll be adding new photos to our Testimonials pages this week: Cary, Lucy and Brie, Keesa (Liberty), Calla and Dale, Fina and Isis (Genevieve and Nissa), Oliver and Sophia, Kai (Greta), Bianca, Trouble, and Izzy. AJS families, please forgive me if I've left anyone out... I'll get it updated soon, I promise!
